Went for dinner for the family and got three large dishes. We ordered jerk chicken, jerk pork, and fried chicken. The food came fully packed in their containers and was more than enough for a family of four. We had mixed vegetables and oxtail gravy on the rice. The rice had was cooked perfectly and had coconut flavors, the octail gravy was thick and delicious. My favorite dish was the jerk pork. It was cooked very tender and moist. The pork absorbed the jerk flavors very well. The jerk chicken however did not absorb the flavor as well but was still good even though it did not taste like it came of off a jerk pan grill. The fried chicken according to my jamaican wife was French fried and tasted excellent. The meat was moist and succulent. The chicken skin got soggy because it was sealed with the rice. So if you get that tell them to put the chicken separate in a paper bag. It felt like we had a home cooked meal after we were done. And for that, it's well worth another visit.

My niece yearned for some Caribbean fare and we found the Kingston Grill on Hempstead. It is a hidden gem that provides great food and great service. We had stewed chicken, curry goat, oxtail and fish. Great flavors, large portions and ambience accentuated by Pandora playing greats from the 80s provided for a wonderful experience. Get there when you can.

Stop by for a quick dinner before a show at the UBS arena (a few mins away from the restaurant). Food was delicious, the flavors and portions are perfect! The restaurant was clean and very well kept. Lots of variety despite being 6pm in the evening. The menu is large with lots of options. They sell ice cream, dessert and juices. The customer service there is great as well. Definitely will return when I'm in the area again! Note that there is parking in the back of the restaurant.

Upon entry I was immediately greeted with a friendly good morning and a warm smile. There are tables with lace tablecloths that add to this welcoming feeling. All I wanted was some porridge. I wish I was hungrier because the available food smelled fantastic. I ordered a corn porridge although I was hoping for banana porridge. It was a little lumpier than I expected, but the blend of cinnamon and corn was simply fantastic. All these years I've driven by and now that I've tried something I know this is a place worth returning to.
